Product Introduction
The corundum is used for refractory or abrasive material, with the hardness second only to that of diamond. Its crystal is barrel- shaped, column-shaped, plate-shaped, etc., with a melting point of 2,050°C. Corundum classification: Natural corundum (natural corundum is usually blue and yellow, and the transparent and brightly colored is called the gem; those containing trace chromium and with red color is called ruby, and those containing trace titanium and with blue color is called sapphire); artificial corundum (fused corundum and sintered corundum).
