Product Introduction

  The bauxite ore, with the scientific name of alumyte and bauxite and extremely complex composition, is a general term for various alumina ores containing water from very different geological sources. Bauxite ores are usually formed by chemical weathering or exogenous action, and few of them are pure minerals, and they always contain some impure minerals, more or less clay minerals, iron minerals, titanium minerals and terrigenous heavy minerals.

 

According to the calcining kiln, the calcined bauxite is classified into:

Output and granularity requirements:

  The annual output is 250,000 tons, and the granularity can be customized as required by the buyer, generally including the natural block, 200meshes, 0-1 mm, 1-3 mm,3-5 mm, 5-8 mm etc.

 

Application field:

  (1) Aluminum smelting industry: It is used for national defense, aviation, automobile, electrical appliance, chemicals, daily necessities, etc.

  (2) Precision casting: The calcined bauxite is processed into fine powder and is then molded for precision casting, and it is used in the military industry, spaceflight, communication, instrumentation, machinery and medical equipment sectors.

  (3) Refractory products: The refractoriness of bauxite clinker is as high as 1,780°C, with strong chemical stability and favorable physical properties.

  (4) Aluminum silicate refractory fiber: It features the advantages of light weight, high temperature resistance, favorable heat stability, low thermal conductivity, low heat capacity and mechanical shock resistance, and is used for the steel, nonferrous metallurgy, electronics, petroleum, chemical, astronavigation, atomic energy, national defense and other industries. Its principle is that the high-alumina clinker is put into a high-temperature electric-arc furnace with melting temperature of about 2000-2200°C, and is then melted at a high temperature, blown and cooled with the high-pressure high-speed air or steam, to produce the white "cotton" - aluminum silicate refractory fiber. It can be pressed into fiber blankets, boards or woven into clothes, to replace refractory bricks for the lining of high-temperature kilns in smelting, chemical, glass and other industries. Additionally, the refractory fiber cloth can be made into clothes for fire fighters.

  (5) The magnesite and bauxite clinker, added with proper binding agents, are used as raw materials, to pour the whole lining of molten steel ladle, with ideal effects.  

  (6) It is used to produce alumina cement, grinding materials, and various compounds for aluminum manufacturing in ceramic industry and chemical industry.

  (7) It is used for road paving.
