Shell casting direction

1. Types of castings: camshafts, crankshafts, engine blocks, gearboxes, exhaust pipes, turbo shells, valves, discs, etc., especially for castings that require high surface finish of the inner cavity, after using spherical fused silica sand , the surface finish of the inner cavity of the turbine shell, intermediate shell, hydraulic castings and wind die castings can reach 3.2-6.3;

2. Examples:

(1) The spherical fused silica sand is used in the cast iron stack casting process, and the yield is much higher than the previous process;

(2) For castings with small machining allowance and demanding dimensional accuracy, spherical fused silica sand can meet the requirements;

(3) For some castings, the use of spherical silica sand can improve the quantity of finished products and the qualified rate of finished products, that is, for castings cast with 1 ton of molten steel, the number of castings cast with spherical silica sand is more than that of the original process, about 15% more.

 

Investment casting direction

·Casting material: stainless steel, low alloy steel, carbon steel, etc.

1. Types of castings: valve plates, sewing machine parts, impellers, etc.

2. Examples:

(1) Use spherical fused silica sand powder as surface layer slurry (silica sol), spherical fused silica sand as surface layer sand, cast stainless steel and carbon steel parts, the casting quality is good, and subsequent processes will not be added, which can completely replace zircon silt, reduce production cost;

(2) Mixing zircon powder and spherical silica sand powder in a ratio of 1:1 will not affect the casting quality at all, and at the same time, it can improve the collapsibility of the shell and reduce the production cost.
